Burnley Town Centre PSPO update

Dear Residents,

We'd like to let you know that your Neighbourhood Policing Team have been busy again today!

You will be glad to hear, we have had 3 lock ups in total today!! 

2 individuals got locked up for breach of the Towns Public Space Protection Order (PSPO). The other individual was locked up for 2 shoplifting offences. 

We have also had 2 breaches of the PSPO for street drinking.

In total we have had 7 lock ups for breach of the PSPO within the last week. This is for street drinking and begging within the Town Centre.

We have taken your feedback seriously and we are cracking down on both shoplifting and begging within the Town Centre.
